Lust List #3

Lust List #3

Hi everyone! I haven't done a lust list in a while so it's definitely time for a new one.
I've wanted a new phone case for a while (even though 5Cs don't really need one, I could throw my phone into the Grand Canyon and it would come out without a scratch) and Iconemisis has some gorgeous ones, I love the pale blue colour and the print is also really pretty. I also love this terrarium from Asda (they have some stunning homeware bits), I'm particularly into homeware at the moment since I'll be moving out in September and want to get stuff to make my uni room feel less like a uni room. I don't know what I'd use it for (I can't actually put a plant in it, that would be madness) but I really love the look of it. The Sali Hughes Pretty Honest book is something I've wanted to read for ages and I think it'll look really nice on my shelves. I've never been that bothered about Velvet Teddy from Mac before but then I saw a blogpost that had a really gorgeous swatch and now I'm thinking maybe I do need it. Anyone? I also bought my sister a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and I have never seen anyone go through a lipstick faster, which tells me I need one too, I just have no idea what colour to go for. In my Getting Back into Highlighter  post I said that I wanted the Mac Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle, I just wish it wasn't £24.
Two fashion items I'm lusting after at the moment are these Jamie jeans from Topshop in a corduroy fabric. Cords remind me of being about 10 years old but I think it would be an interesting texture to add to an outfit and a nice change from regular jeans. And the hunt for the winter coat has begun. I really like the colour of this one from Asos because it's not black which is usually what I go for. I'm just teetering on the edge of taking the plunge and ordering this before it sells out (again).
Let me know if you already own anything on my lust list in the comments. Thanks for stopping by, lots of love,

Lust List #2

Untitled #19

Hi everyone! Today I've put together a little wishlist for you, it wasn't meant to have a theme or anything but I guess it's turned out quite summery with fake tan, sunglasses, a bikini top and a bralet. I am always hankering after new jewellery and I'm really feeling these two necklaces from Asos. Except the longer necklace with the turquoise stones is absolutely massive and I don't know whether it'll be too big and look silly. But at least with Asos it's easy to send it back. I also love the bikini top which is from Zara, I think the embroidery is absolutely gorgeous. Although I can't actually tell if it's a bikini top. It's under beachwear on the website but I'm not sure. Anyone? It's really unlike me to be looking at bikinis this early in the year but in previous years I leave it way too late and all the nice ones are usually gone so I'm trying to get ahead of the game. I've actually seen loads that I really like and might do a swimwear wishlist at some point. I had a sample of the new Shiseido Veiled Rouge lipsticks in a few different shades and was amazed at how gorgeous they were. They're sheer and glossy but there was something really nice about them that I can't put my finger on (so there should be at £19.50 each). The bralet is from Ebay and is less than £6. I bought a top recently with gigantic armholes so I feel like wearing a longline bra/bralet underneath it will make me more comfortable about baring the flesh.
I'm gonna stop there even though I could go on and on! Let me know what's on your wishlist in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by, lots of love,

Lust List #1

Untitled #18

Hello all and welcome to another post in which I lust after makeup and clothes I can't really afford (my life in one sentence). I hope you enjoy!

Jewellery:  If you can't tell by the above picture and previous blog posts, I love delicate and fine jewellery, particularly rings and 'hand jewellery'. It's my (not particularly successful) way of disguising my man hands. Asos have such a wide range of rings at reasonable prices and the hand harness is something I really want to try for the boho vibe it gives.
Trousers: As someone who has to wear black for work I am always looking for black trousers and as someone who loves to wear black that is totally fine with me. Black trousers go with everything and I think everyone should have a pair in their wardrobe. However in an attempt to switch things up (but not that much) I think I'd get a lot of wear out of a grey pair. Both the trousers are from Topshop so, expensive but gorgeous.
Nail Varnish: If I had it my way I would wear autumn nail colours all year round. Essie's Bordeaux is a stunning dark burgundy and After School Boy Blazer is a definite blogger favourite and is currently on Fragrance Direct for £2.49 so I may have to place an order before it gets snapped up.
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers: I'm getting pretty sick of stealing my sister's eyelash curlers to be honest and I'd finally like a pair of my own.
Dark Red Lipstick: I mentioned in my last post that I was looking for a pure dark red lipstick without any plum or berry undertones and Mac's Diva and Nars Audacious lipstick in Olivia look to be the perfect fit however I'd need to swatch them first before taking the twenty four pound plunge.
The Virtual Domination Palette: I saved the best til last. Have you ever seen anything more beautiful? The Virtual Domination Palette from Nars is exclusive to Space NK, it features two limited edition blushers and the ever popular Deep Throat blusher plus a highlighter and Laguna bronzer and it is per-fec-tion. It comes in at £45 which is rather hefty but that's what perfection costs I guess.

Thanks for stopping by! Lots of love,

Autumn Wishlist

autumn wishlist

Topshop Ladder Stitch Crop Jumper Zara Laser Cut T-Shirt Topshop Long Sleeve Skinny Rib Crop Top New Look Purple Check Slim Leg Trousers Asos Right On Time Chelsea Ankle Boots New Look Black Air Cushion Lace Up Trainers Orelia Large Arrow Necklace Asos Large Face Slim Strap Watch Topshop Eyeduo in Long Weekend Soap & Glory Archery 2 in 1 Brow Filling Pencil and Brush

Hi everyone and welcome to another wishlist! I haven't done one in a little while but I've been doing a lot of online shopping recently so naturally I've ended up with a fairly sizable wishlist.
As soon as the weather gets a little bit colder I want every cropped jumper on the market hence why you'll spot 2 in this wishlist. I also love patterned trousers but with really autumnal colours just like these New Look ones. I'm also really loving jewellery at the moment. Dainty necklaces have become an obsession and my everyday watch is currently running 10 minutes slow. Instead of doing the normal thing and putting a new battery in it, I decided it was the perfect time for a new one! Enter Asos' relatively cheap but gorgeous looking watches. I love the way the face of the watch matches the strap on this one
Not through lack of trying, I came to the realisation that I can't wear boots. My unfortunate combination of short legs and cankles means that anything that cuts off above the ankle is very unflattering. However I feel like I might be able to get away with these Asos ones. They have a bit of a heel so will make my legs look a bit longer and they don't go too far above the ankle. It's not fair that the longer legged get to wear winter boots and I don't, okay. I'm feeling fairly satisfied with my makeup collection at the moment (I'm actually slightly overwhelmed by it) and there's only a couple of things I really want. One being this Topshop Eyeduo in Long Weekend because I'm really intrigued by the orange shade and the other being the new brow product from Soap & Glory.

That's all for today! Let me know in the comments what's at the top of you autumn wishlist. Thanks for stopping by and hopefully see you soon :) Lots of love,

Wishlistin' (again)

Untitled #15

1. Asos Swing T-shirt in Acid Wash- £18: This is the kind of thing I'd say I'd wear on a 'lazy day' even though I can't seem to dress casually no matter how lazy my day is. I really love the baggy look and the distressed look to it.
2. The Body Shop Colour Crush Shine Lipsticks- £10: These Body Shop lipsticks are really doing the rounds at the moment and as a self confessed tinted lip balm lover it would only be right to try them.
3. Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick- £6.90: Hailed as a dupe for the ByTerry Ombre Blackstar but much cheaper (thank god) these sound really intriguing and I'm kicking myself for not picking any up when I was recently in London.
4. Because Cats Iphone Case: I recently broke my Iphone (d'oh) so to cut a long story short I've got a new phone and I am on the hunt for a new phone case and I am yet to come across a cuter one than this. Why you ask? Because cats.
5. Miss Selfridge Ring Pack- £8.50: I'm really feeling chunky rings at the moment but I only seem to have small, delicate ones. I really love the turquoise in this 3 pack from Miss Selfridge.
6. Kevyn Aucoin Eyeshadow Duo in 208 Frosted Jade/ Bronze- £34: For my sister's birthday we took a trip to Space NK, I was extremely good and didn't buy anything but I did swatch a lot. It was like smelling a cake but not being able to eat it. One of the products that stuck in my mind was this eyeshadow duo from Kevyn Aucoin. The bronze shade is absolutely to die for while the other side is a nice olive green. Why does it have to be so expensive? Or more importantly, why do I have to be so poor?
7. River Island Top- £30: This top was at the very front of my local River Island and it actually drew me into the shop because I never usually go in. I love everything about it except the price. Harrumph.
8. H&M Shirt- £14.99: Finally something reasonably priced! I saw this as I was walking out of an H&M the other day but I was walking with too much gusto to turn around.

Thanks for stopping by! Lots of love,
